Who we are

Brand N You is a marketing automation service for local businesses, based in Kolkata, India, and run by Tapash Das. We decide how your personal data is used, so we are responsible for it.

What we collect

• When you ask for a free audit or message us: your name, email address, WhatsApp number, your business name and area, and your role at the business.
• To keep the form safe: your IP address and a security check by Cloudflare Turnstile, used only to stop spam and abuse.
• About your business: what the business itself publishes on Google, its website, social media and directories. This may include personal information where a business publishes an individual’s contact details.
• If you become a client: the account access you choose to give us (for example Manager access on your Google Business Profile), plus billing details. We never ask for your passwords.

Why we use it

• To confirm you are a real person (a code by email and WhatsApp) and send you your audit.
• To reply to you and, if you hire us, to run the work you’ve asked for.
• To confirm who controls a business before we change anything on its behalf.

We don’t sell your data. We don’t add you to marketing lists without asking.

Who else handles it

Only the services we need to run this: our hosting provider, our email provider, WhatsApp (Meta) for messages, Cloudflare for the security check, Google for business listing data and optional website analytics, and Microsoft for optional page-usage recordings (Clarity). These providers process information under their own service and privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Audit requests that don’t become clients are deleted after 90 days. Copies in our encrypted backups expire within 30 days after that. Client records are kept while we work together, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. You can also name someone to act for you. Email us at hello@brandnyou.in or send your request on WhatsApp and we’ll reply within 14 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Cookies

Google Analytics loads only if you accept analytics. It measures page views and contact-button clicks, and may set analytics cookies. We do not send form contents, contact details, WhatsApp message text or URL query strings to Analytics. Advertising personalization is disabled. Your browser stores your preference; use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change it or withdraw consent and remove Analytics cookies. Microsoft Clarity also loads only if you accept analytics. It records how you move through a page (clicks, scrolls and taps) so we can see what is confusing. All text and form fields are hidden in the recording, and we never record the audit form or contact page. Clarity sets its own cookies (_clck, _clsk). Withdrawing consent through “Analytics preferences” in the footer stops it and removes those cookies. Recordings are processed by Microsoft under its privacy terms. Necessary sign-in cookies on the audit application are separate.
